In accordance with our constitution Area Stewards duties include: serve on the Board, identify and recruit potential stewards in their area, maintain regular contact with stewards within their area, aid the Lead Steward in ensuring proper training and mentorship for Stewards, facilitate the interpretation and enforcement of the contract which shall include, as necessary, the filing of grievances, report to the Lead Steward, and work with the Membership Lead to maintain the membership list (updated membership and contact information) of their area
